The Reichert Foundation was founded in 1987 by Jack F. and Corrine V. Reichert for the purpose of helping the disadvantaged.  The Foundation principally donates to charitable organizations providing services in the following areas:

• Food, clothing and/or shelter to disadvantaged persons;
• Disaster relief;
• Care for disabled, critically, or terminally ill children

The goal of the Foundation’s grant making is to provide help to individuals through its supporting of various charitable organizations.   The Reichert Foundation was founded on the belief that philanthropy plays an essential role in easing suffering and advancing positive change.

The Foundation currently provides funding to approximately 50 charitable organizations.  Preference is given to organizations located in Lake County, IL.
